- When our Admissions Office receives your form, an acknowledgement e-mail/letter is issued and completed applications are submitted for consideration.
- Successful applicants will receive either a conditional or unconditional admission offer.
Conditional offers: under the terms of a conditional offer, applicants are requested to obtain/provide evidence of further or pending qualifications that will allow them to meet the course entry requirements. Such students may, for example, be awaiting final undergraduate degree results.
Unconditional offers: are issued to applicants whose qualifications fully satisfy the entry criteria of their chosen postgraduate programme.
- You will be sent an Offer Letter and a Student Response form in which you accept/decline the offer and select a preferred payment option. You must complete a Student Response form and return it to the Admissions Office within 21 days.
- Once we have received all the necessary documents you will be 'cleared for admission' immediately (unconditional offers) or when you have met the conditions of our offer (conditional offers).
- If you are an International Student, you will then be required to pay your tuition fees. Upon receipt of your tuition fees you will be sent a Certificate of Acceptance which will allow you to begin arrangements for your student visa.
Refund of tuition fees:
COEX’s refund policy is as below:
All fees, in full or in parts, paid to COEX by the students are non refundable, except in cases where leave to enter the United Kingdom as a student is not granted by the British Authorities overseas (a student visa is refused).
To obtain a refund in this case a student must take the following steps:
- Inform COEX admission office as soon as possible and send a request for refund in writing within 30 days from the date of refusal. Failing to do so will result in making a refund claim null and void.
- Original refusal documents issued by the British High Commission/Consulate/Embassy must be submitted to COEX with the copy of the page of the passport where an observation for refusal is made.
- If an appeal is made against the decision of refusal then refund will be made after the presiding authority has given a decision against the appellant (the student).
- No refund will be made should it be established that the admission with COEX was obtained by producing fake or forged documents or by way of false or misleading information in any form.
- No refund will be made should it be established that the student was refused a student visa because he/she produced fake or forged documents to the visa authorities.
- In the case of overseas students, once a student has obtained a visa, but does not commence the course, £1,550 of the deposit paid will not be refunded. Any deposits paid in excess of £1,550 may be refunded at the sole discretion of COEX.
- Once the student has commenced the course, fees will not be refunded.
In any case when a refund is made, there is a non refundable fee charged of £300. This deduction is made as an application/processing and registration fee.
If all the conditions are met for a refund, COEX will issue a refund to the student within seven working days. This refund will be made via a bank transfer, a cheque payable to the student or any other means available to COEX. If a banking charge is payable, it will be deducted from the refund amount.
