The Certificate In English Language Test (CIELT) for Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier 1 and Tier 2
of the points-based system (PBS) was opened in the United
Kingdom on 27 November 2008. It requires migrants to demonstrate
that they have an acceptable standard of English. One way to
demonstrate this is to pass the Certificate In English Language Test offered by
College of Excellence. CIELT, conducted by College of Excellence,
has been assessed as meeting the UK Border Agency Standards and
will be accepted as evidence that the applicant meets these
requirements. |

Preparing for CIELT |
At COEX we believe that the skills and knowledge you need for this
test are best developed with general practice, rather than 'exam
practice'. There are no books available specifically for CIELT.
However, if you would like to grasp the test's structure and
practise before you sit the test, COEX offers specially designed
preparation courses which are tailored to candidate's individual
needs. If you feel you need to improve some of your skills, do not
hesitate to contact COEX' English Department.
We have a very flexible programme of CIELT preparation courses:
normal track and fast track. Our specially designed courses will
optimise your test score by familiarising you with the test and
improving your performance.
- Courses cover all four parts of the test: listening, reading, writing and
speaking
- Relevant topics will be included and various materials and
resources will be used to enhance your learning
- There will be a mock test towards the end of the course
