General English Programme

This year-round programme has been designed to improve your general and academic English to prepare you for life and academic study in the UK.  Courses in College of Excellence utilise interactive methods of teaching that develop all the language skills with an emphasis on interpersonal communication. You will have the opportunity to practise English used in everyday situations, and to broaden your knowledge and understanding of grammar and vocabulary.

Below we have displayed how our six levels are linked to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The Framework was developed by the Council of Europe to enable language learners, teachers, and potential employers to compare and relate language qualifications by level. Please check the table and talk to your current teachers so that when you arrive for your course, you are already at the minimum stated level.
